The Vermont Housing and Conservation Coalition Legislative Day is January 30

From our friends at the Vermont Housing and Conservation Coalition:

The Vermont Housing and Conservation Coalition (VHCC) Legislative Day is the day for housing and conservation supporters to champion the projects and values supported by Vermont Housing and Conservation Board (VHCB) funding. Legislators need to hear from YOU—Vermonters doing the work on the ground—about how VHCB-funded projects are helping solve some of Vermont’s most pressing issues. Together, our partnership with VHCB helps fight homelessness, improves water quality, creates affordable housing, supports downtown development, protects Vermont’s priceless landscape, and promotes rural economic development—including working farms and the forest economy. This year we are pushing for $21 million funding for VHCB in 2021 and we need YOUR HELP to make the case!

Please join us at the State House on Tuesday, January 30 to deliver the message that it is important to continue funding VHCB.

Spread the word

Please share through your email networks, on social media, and add links to your website, if possible. The talking points have great content on what the funding can achieve: for housing and for conservation.

Here’s a direct link to the registration page. For more information, the webpage is here, and the event is on Facebook. Please register by this Thursday, the 24th. We need the advance notice so we can be prepared on the day.
