The TD Charitable Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2011 Housing for Everyone grant c

A total of $2.5 million will be awarded this year to 25 local non-profit organizations that make a meaningful difference in meeting the affordable housing needs in communities served by TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®. The theme of this year’s competition is “Building for the Future”. Applications must focus on anyone of three areas – Energy Efficiency, Capacity Building, or New Unit Creation and should highlight the ways in which funding will provide the opportunity in the future to expand the availability of and/or access to safe affordable housing. Applications will only be accepted through the TD Charitable Foundation’s online application system and should be submitted by 4:00 p.m. (EST) on Friday September 2, 2011.  Paper applications will not be accepted. Notification of awards will be made by late October 2011.
