Shumlin asked to testify in Washington, D.C.

Source: WCAX.com,  April 13, 2011 “Gov. Peter Shumlin, D-Vermont, has been invited to make another trip to Washington, D.C. He’s been asked to testify at a hearing of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee to talk about Vermont’s efforts to balance the state budget. Shumlin was invited by the committee’s ranking Democrat to provide a differing viewpoint than Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker who has been at the center of controversy for his budget cutting decisions.”
