He’s been asked to testify at a hearing of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee to talk about Vermont’s efforts to balance the state budget. Shumlin was invited by the committee’s ranking Democrat to provide a differing viewpoint than Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker who has been at the center of controversy for his budget cutting decisions.”
