Helping tenants to successfully retain their housing takes creative, progressive engagement, strategies that are inclusive of all key players including service providers, property managers, and tenants themselves. This session will discuss key skills, strategies, tools and resources, to help prevent evictions of vulnerable populations and provide a foundation for their continued growth and success. This session targets housing and service providers, including but not limited to supportive housing service providers, and affordable housing property managers. ‘Promote Housing Stability and Prevent Evictions’ will build and enhance partnerships between housing and service providers serving vulnerable populations in the state of Vermont. The session will increase participants’ skills in communication, coordination, and ability to access resources and tools to prevent evictions and increase housing stability.
