March 1, 2011 Don’t Forget To Vote! Thanks to the efforts of RACDC supporters, special appropriations will be voted on in the towns that RACDC serves. We urge you to vote YES on these appropriations. “Every penny voters advance to RACDC is an investment that pays back many times over,” says Marty Strange, president of RACDC. “This year alone, RACDC-developed properties will pay over $182,000 in taxes. For a $10,000 special appropriation, that’s a pretty good return on investment. And those taxes get paid every year.” It also shows potential project partners that there is wide community support for the projects and mission of RACDC.
