Job Opportunity With the Vermont Human Rights Commission

The Vermont Human Rights Commission is seeking applicants for the position of Administrative Law Examiner/Investigator. Responsibilities include: investigating complaints of discrimination in housing, public accommodations and state government employment by locating and interviewing witnesses, obtaining and reviewing documents, conciliating complaints, conducting legal research, writing in-depth reports that contain a factual and legal analysis as to the merits of the complaint and making a recommended finding to the Commissioners.  This person is expected to present educational workshops and training and conduct outreach on issues of civil rights under state and federal law.  Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent Vermont four-year law study required.  For a full job description and qualifications click here.
