On Thursday, January 10, 2013, Governor Peter Shumlin signed Vermont’s Plan to End Homelessness. The plan was drafted by the Vermont Council on Homelessness, which was reestablished under Shumlin’s administration to address and find solutions to homelessness statewide. “While ending homelessness is no simple feat to be achieved in a single year, this plan outlines our strategy to reduce the incidence and duration of homelessness in Vermont.” -Governor Shumlin, excerpted from Vermont’s Plan to End Homelessness View Plan to End Homelessness Visit the Agency of Human Services Vermont Plan to End Homelessness webpage.
