Citgo Heating Oil Program

This year, any eligible Vermont household (with incomes up to about $48,000/year for a family of 4) can call up 1-877-JOE-4-OIL (1-877-563-4645) or apply online at www.citizensenergy.com .  If they are eligible they can get a free delivery of 100 gallons of heating oil in about a week after they call.  Homeless shelters are also eligible and Citizens Energy said that they mailed out applications to homeless shelters in Vermont.  They expect the program to keep going until about the first week of March.
